Umspannwerk Kreuzberg STARK.3 occurs in the impressive venue Umspannwerk Kreuzberg in the heart of the city. Built by architect Hans Heinrich Müller in the 1920s it was the first of its kind and is till today architecturally the most defined power station of its time. Closed in 1989, the listed building has been reconstructed and modernised to a very high standard. The original charm and character of the building has been beautifully maintained. |
